Even the pickiest of eaters can find a chip-and-dip combination they love. Chips and dip are also a suitable snack for people with dietary restrictions. Those who have a gluten intolerance can opt for corn chips, while vegans and vegetarians can order meatless dips with their chips. If you’re looking for a reason to eat some chips and dips, come to Ed’s Tavern to celebrate National Chip and Dip Day!
National Chip and Dip Day is on March 23. The holiday is the ideal excuse to head to your favorite restaurant and order some chips and dip. Chips and dip are the perfect pairings, whether you’re eating it as a meal or a snack.
Did you know documentation of the first dip dates all the way back to the 13th century? One of the first dips historians discovered is a hummus-like recipe. Hummus is still a popular dish served today, but today’s dips are also more advanced and unique, combining flavors from all over the world.
Maybe you’re a fan of queso, or perhaps salsa is your favorite dip. You may even be a lover of spinach artichoke dip. In addition to the immeasurable amount of dips you can craft up, you can also use a variety of dippers in the dip. You can stick with the typical chips, or you can try using pretzels, pita, or vegetables.
At Ed’s Tavern, we serve up chips and dip you have to try for yourself. Our buffalo chicken dip is made with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cheese, and tortilla chips. We also have nachos made with chili, cheddar, tomato, jalapeno, shredded lettuce, salsa, and sour cream. Our bottomless chips and salsa is an excellent deal if you’re ordering a shareable for the table. In addition to our salsa, you can also add beer cheese and guacamole for an extra $2 and $3 respectively.
